Two Oceans Ultra checklist

  1. Shoes (old faithfuls)
  2. RaceTec chip.
  3. Shorts
  4. Club shirt
  5. Uhm. Under garments.
  6. Wrist band. For the sweat. And the tears
  7. Socks. Tried and tested
  8. Cap. Usually for the sun but this time more likely for the rain.
  9. Shades
  10. Makeshift rain coat (aka a trash bag). For some pre-race shelter from the wetness.
  11. Race number x 2
  12. Garmin Forerunner. Charged. <3
  13. Tissues
  14. Bag to carry the necessary supplies
  15. Pre-race sunblock
  16. Pre-race chafe prevention essentials. Loobit and Vaseline. Lots of it.
  17. Pre-race long-sleeved top.
  18. Gu Energy gels x 6
  19. Sunblock
  20. Band-aids
  21. Pain meds
  22. Hair elastic
  23. Wrist pace chart
  24. Nerves
  25. Excitement
  26. Hardcore kick-ass attitude

Check. Check. Check.
